The second half of last year was extremely busy for the development team, and it looks like being the same for going into the 2024. It was important we grew the team to firstly enable us to keep on producing for our customers, but also to give us the head room to learn and adapt to change.

I'm super pleased that two new faces have joined us; Rachel and Macktaline.

Rachel previously worked at Quba as an Account Manager, with a particular focus on managing Quba Care services. While she really enjoyed helping clients get the most value out of their digital solutions, she gained an increasing interest in the development side of things, eventually deciding to leave and retrain by enrolling on a conversion Masters course in Computing. Having completed the course, Rachel has now rejoined Quba as a Junior Developer and is very excited to get started in her new role. She says "I am particularly looking forward to combining my existing client knowledge with my new skills in software development, and learning lots along the way".

Macktaline is a software developer with with over 9 years experience in various digital companies, with particular emphasis on .NET and Microsoft technologies. She describes herself as "not just a coder but a creator, a problem-solver, and a passionate individual ready to leave a positive impact on the digital landscape".

I'm always interested in talking to individuals that think Quba would be a good fit, so feel free to drop me a line (no recruiters please!).
